REQUEST A SESSION

"Whilst in my second year on Workers Comp, in 2023, my Injury Sevices officer,
recommended a meeting with Chantelle, to help me deal with the physical and
mental impact of my injury. I was reluctant at first, as I tend to be a private person...
but after our initial meeting, I felt very much at ease, and surprised at how easy it
was to openly discuss issues with Chantelle. Chantelle met with me every 2-3
weeks, either face to face or over the phone. She was amazing, in being able to help
me with issues both on an injury and personal level. She never passed judgement
or criticised me for the way I expressed myself, and for that, I’m truly grateful, as it
allowed me to be me and to say how and what I was feeling, in both situations. I feel
that with Chantelle’s dedication and caring demeanour, as well as homework she
regularly set for me, I was able to overcome a lot of my anxiety and depression that
I was carrying, due to my injury, which in return, affected my personal life, my social
life, my relationship and my ability to return to work... She continually encouraged
me
, at every meeting, and through text messages which she’d send to check on me, if
our meeting was going to be longer than 3 weeks apart... That meant a lot to me, it
showed that she genuinely cared... And for that - I say, Thankyou Chantelle."
